Eskom Spec D59 Flame Suit - Full Suit
Dromex Eskom Spec D59 Flame Suit is 100% locally manufactured. It is navy blue, flame treated and designed to protect the user from the hazards of accidental flame contact. This garment helps reduce injury and loss of life when working in hazardous environments. The Dromex D59 Eskom flame retardant pants and jacket are approved to the latest SAN 434 specification. They also have the SABS permit marking constructed from locally produced DA GAMA fabric. The D59 drill fabric construction is heavy duty and durable, whilst the flame garment treatment technology resists the effects of flame contact. As a result offering the user essential protection when needed. A 100% cotton satin weave finish, natural fibre construction makes this garment comfortable and breathable. Made from 100% Cotton fabric in Eskom pantone navy blue. Some of the features of the Eskom Spec D59 Flame Suit include a heavy duty Vizlon zip, plastic press stud closure and multiple pockets. Side slits on either side of the jacket ensure a better fit at the waist. Triple needle topstitched seams throughout for added durability. For enhanced visibility the garment has hi vis silver flame retardant reflective tape on arms and legs. You can find a “Zero Harm” embroidery on right arm and on the pants for garment identification. An inner elasticated waist ensures optimum fit and flexibility with 7 belt loops. This garment is suitable for use within Eskom distribution, transmission, generation and rotek operations in compliance with Eskom group specifications.
