Finger Splint – Aluminium 13cm
Finger Splint – Aluminium 13cm Aluminium Finger Splints are manufactured using a layer of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is laminated to 1.2mm thick aluminium. The lamination is a synthetic rubber resin, supported by an adhesive film. The aluminium used is a very pliable material that is easily bent and cut. Instructions for use: Gather the necessary materials. You will need a clean towel, a pair of scissors, medical tape, and an aluminium finger splint. Clean the injured area. Use a clean towel to gently wipe away any dirt or debris from the injured finger. Cut the splint to the appropriate size for your finger. Place the splint on the dorsal surface of the finger. Secure the splint to the finger using tape around each phalanx to immobilize the target joint or joints (eg, for PIP immobilization, apply tape around the proximal and middle phalanges).
